Potential Market
There are 327.17 million people in the US and approximately 3.4 million of those people suffer from epilepsy, not including other conditions that induce seizures. This leaves us with more than 3.4 million people over the age of 14 that will qualify for our product. With the average price being estimated to about $75 before testing or prototype, and with having a very small percentage of the market (an estimated .5%) that's a projected profit of $1.275 million if we keep the price and if everybody buys one. This is merely an estimated guess.
Individual Summary
Over the past week of researching patents and products, we realized that our idea has not been attempted before and that it is something that will help those in need. We discovered some similar patents through patent data-base websites and products on our own through meticulous searching. In the end we realized we have something unique that could help a lot of people.
